Visser & Visser has been chosen as the best business services provider of 2021 in the accountancy and tax advice categories. This was the outcome of the MT1000, the annual survey of more than four thousand corporate decision-makers by business platform MT/Sprout. The MT1000 list of best service providers is compiled following a survey conducted by the University of Amsterdam on behalf of MT/Sprout.
Henk Volberda, a professor at the university, and his Amsterdam Centre for Business Innovation are responsible for the study. “You need to make sure you have satisfied customers who are able to remember you when it comes to a survey like this. That means you need to have a good product, be customer-focused and work extremely efficiently. Smart companies are able to maximize their performance in all these areas.”
Helping employees and clients to grow
The list provides a clear overview of how companies are assessed by their customers. In the case of Visser & Visser the rating achieved can be attributed to the way the company works together with clients and colleagues. “Doing our best for our clients is in Visser & Visser’s DNA”, board member Steef Visser explains. “For us it’s all about delivering added value. Even if something is not exactly part of the engagement, we go the extra mile if we think it can help the client. You want to help people move forward; to help employees and clients to grow. That is our passion. Growth and development do not just have to be about figures, but can be about people too. How can I help you to develop? That’s the kind of conversation that people – both we and the client – remember.”
Board member Jaco Slingerland: “We aim to work in an innovative, customer-focused and solution-oriented way and are motivated, people-oriented and helpful in our approach – both in our dealings with each other and our clients. The fact that this has earned us the right to refer to ourselves as a winner of MT1000 has given us a real positive boost. Continuing to use your talent to help others – both clients and colleagues – to grow is hugely motivating. That’s how we do things: together.”
